Week 12 Journal 52 prompt

                                         - A Day In My Life

 

This prompt wasn't exactly inspiring to me. I find my day to day life not particularly exciting. However even though this prompt didn't spark my creativity I found it quite fun just to have a page which was simple and not to much thought had to go into it... I mean writing down the basic things we do each day isn't very challenging! Right? 

 

I made the background quickly using some ink sprays and some paints. I then added some stamped flowers and butterflies which I coloured in with Pro markers. 

 

After that I literally just wrote down my daily routine, I added arrows to direct you from one activity to the next. I then doodled a little.

 

I Can't say that I love this page... however it was freeing not to feel pressure (from myself) to create a pretty page. I often get dishearten when I create pages that don't turn out the way I in visage. I like to feel proud of my pages. 

 

Slowly as time goes on I'm learning to art journal for myself and not to create a masterpiece. My Journal pages are for me to help myself. To express  my thoughts and feelings and for no other reason, When I create my art journal pages like that I feel more free.
