Experiment.

Week 40 - Journal 52 Prompt.  

 

For this art journal page, I began by creating the background.

The background was created using acrylic paints, stencils and collage.  

I wanted to find a face with in the background and once i had decided where i wanted the face to be i drew

in the face using water colour pencils,

the flower's were also created using

water colour pencils and then

highlighted using a white posca paint

pen. I studied the background further

trying to find any other shapes that i

could bring to the foreground,

ie; the skull at the bottom of the page.

I added some more collage, doodling

and more paint to the page and then

dryed it fully. Next i added the date

and then some words using a blue biro pen.

 

I wrote : this is who i am, nobody said you had to like it.
