Kel's   Painted   Paradise

When I grow up. Week 7 Journal 52 prompt. 

 

I have wanted to become many different things 'when I grow up'. As a child I wanted to be a fashion designer, then a model, a dancer and then a hair dresser. Over the years I have thought of being an Make -up artist, a florist, a genealogist or even an architect. 

 

I created this page using spray inks for the entire background. I used a black biro to draw the flowers and foliage, basically I just doodled.

I wrote in the words 'I Just Want To Be Happy' and coloured them in using my white Posca paint pen.

 

I chose to use these words on my page because despite the fact I have become none of the things I have wanted to do over the years, I don't feel disappointed. I have dedicated my life to raising my family. I Have a loving partner of 20 years, and together we have two beautiful and talented daughters. 

 

'I Just wanna be happy' - Because isn't that what everyone wants? Even if you are already happy,  wouldn't we all want to remain that way. 

We want our work and home life to be happy.

Our Children and family to be happy and in general wish happiness to others.
