Week 21 Journal 52 Prompt: Making a Mandala. To make the background for this page I used a combination of lime and yellow sprinky's (spray ink) and also some teal coloured paint. I used a red paper doily cut into quarters and then glued down on to the top left corner and the bottom right cornerof the page.

I tried modeling paste for the first ever time, I used it through a stencil to create some texture to my page and add some interest. The mandala was created separately, on a different piece of paper & then coloured in using Pro -markers & a white Posca paint pen for the highlights.

I then glued my mandala down and to complete the page I splattered watered down white acrylic paint on to certain areas of the background. Finally I then added a little saying " Que Sera - Sera  " - ( Whatever will be, will be). . .
