                                  Week 14

Prompt from Journal 52 -  Rain or shine.

I love the rain!  I know many people would disagree with me and don't get me wrong I do also love the sun. However I live in the UK and it rains a lot!  I'm used to the rain, I like how when it rains everything seems quieter... the streets get emptier and all you can hear is the rain falling down. 

 

I Enjoy the fact that on rainy days I don't have to look perfect, I don't have to do my hair just so and worry if my outfit looks good. I can just throw on a big coat and some boots and walk down the street  under my umbrella, with the confidence that everybody else will be doing the exact same thing. 

 

I enjoy walking in the rain, not when it's raining cats and dogs. When its raining lightly. I don't really know why? 

Maybe its for all the reasons I've stated above or maybe it's just something I enjoy.... 

 

I like how the trees look when its been raining and how the roads and pavements glisten. Everything looks cleaner and the smells of the grass and the trees seem stronger.

It's like the rain is washing away the pollution and dirt?
